Laycock Street Theatre under the vision of Manager Patrick Corrigan has become the DSP Theatre of the Year. Its a beautiful 400 seat theatre on the NSW Central Coast which produces magnificent musicals.
They are probably the best if not nearly the best community theatre in Australia. A major producer told me, he was convinced their orchestra for Paris was piped recording it was so good. He was stunned by the standard of direction, singing and design.
Laycock Street Theatre is staging Four David Spicer Production musicals in a row: Paris October 2003, Back To the 80's next month, Paris return season August and Boy's Own McBeth in November. Well done!
